Equipping the cooperative's well with solar energy

Within the framework of securing irrigation water for farmers, and with funding from the UNDP, thanks to the Foundation, its workers, and its president, Mr. Garo Haroutian, the municipality of Deir El Ahmar, in cooperation with the Deir El Ahmar Agricultural Cooperative, was able to equip the cooperative’s well with solar energy to secure the electricity needed to operate the well.

 

The project is located near Saint Nohra Church, as it was built on land owned by the municipality.
