Extending the underground network and medium-voltage lines in Deir El Ahmar along the main street that extends from the town's entrance to Al-Mahaba Hospital. Its completion is aerially in Al-Bsayleh, on the old road, after being rehabilitated with 'Tout venant' material as a gift from the US Department of State in collaboration with Mercy Corps.

 

The Municipal Council expresses its gratitude to His Excellency Deputy Antoine Hbachi for all the efforts and endeavors he made to complete the project, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Electricity of Lebanon, Engineer Kamal Al-Hayek, the Regional Director of Electricity of Lebanon in the Bekaa, Engineer Issam Sleiman, the Head of Baalbek Department in Electricity of Lebanon, Engineer Tarek Sleiman, and the entire working team. Also, thanks to Mr. Georges Fakhry and Mercy Corps for their collaboration, which serves the best interests of the town.
