Equipping the Al Bsayli Al Fawqa well with solar energy

After tireless efforts, the municipality of Deir El Ahmar was able to secure funding to equip the Al Bsayli Al Fawqa well with solar energy, with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), a project under construction.

The municipality thanks the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Al-Khawarizmi Group, which is currently working on preparing and maintaining the well, preparing the site for installing solar panels, and building a distribution room, a chlorine room, and an electricity room.
- This project provides drinking water for approximately 1,600 housing units in Deir El Ahmar.
- It also provides about 20 tanks of diesel per day to manage the generator and provide drinking water for the town’s residents specially during the summer.
