Caritas Lebanon Youth north Bekaa- Deir el Ahmar

Caritas, which means love in Latin, was founded by Lawrence Worthman in the German city of Freiberg, in November 1897. As for Lebanon, it was founded in 1972 by the Jesuit Brother Elie Memari in the southern city of Sidon. Our youth embrace the mission of serving the poor without any discrimination and promoting    integrated human development, philanthropy and justice.

What do we do:

- Organizing recreational activities for children (Christmas, Easter, etc.).

- Organizing events for the elderly, summer camps for children and environmental events such as cleaning and rehabilitating homes.

- Participation in the organization of international events (International Day of Peace, International Humanitarian Day) as well as sports events (Beirut Marathon …) and in school and university exhibitions and exhibitions.

- Providing healthy meals for the needy, visiting patients in hospitals and raising awareness of volunteer work.
